Our Story
At Azure Moon Mercantile, we believe a home should be an evolving collection of stories, memories, and rare treasures. Named after the rare and mystical Blue Moon, our shop is a curated haven of unique and vintage home pieces that inspire curiosity and spark conversation.
inspired by adventure

We blend the spirit of a feminine world-traveling adventurous spirit...
...with the deep personal history of travel and discovery. Inspired by my grandparents, who traveled the world while my grandfather served in the Air Force, our shop curates rare and unique treasures from across the globe.

From Europe to Asia, Egypt to Ireland...
...my grandparent's home was filled with objects rich in history—each with a story to tell. I spent countless hours marveling at their photographs and listening to the tales behind their artifacts including Japanese kabuki & oyama dolls, a piece of the Berlin Wall, and a Celtic clay flute from Ireland, to name just a few.
Azure Moon Mercantile is a Reflection of that Wonder
A collection of vintage and found pieces that bring those same stories and curiosities into your home. We offer rare treasures that spark conversation, evoke a sense of adventure, and transform your space into a sanctuary filled with history and soul. Whether you’re seeking a functional centerpiece or a delicate accent, every item in our shop carries with it the spirit of exploration and the beauty of the journey.

Meet the Founder, Mary Monaghan Chesney
Azure Moon Mercantile was born from my love for home and the stories our spaces tell. After 17 years as a nurse in a large hospital, I shifted my focus from caring for people to caring for the spaces they inhabit. Inspired by my time working alongside a interior designer, I discovered a passion for curating unique, storied pieces that evoke a sense of adventure and exploration. With a natural ability to earn trust and bring calm to any situation, I now pour that same thoughtful energy into sourcing homewares that make a statement. At Azure Moon Mercantile, each item is chosen to spark curiosity, invite conversation, and remind us that our homes are a reflection of our journey.
